Gastro Park, Kapitolyo

So I have this list. Inside this gold little notebook are the plans of my life. char.

It's a list of places, restaurants and things I want to do and visit. Mostly for weekend dates. My list gets longer each week but luckily I'm also able to cross out one or two each weekend with the help of my eating, travelling and best buddy.

one place I had to go back to was Gastro Park Kapitolyo. Why? well because there are just too many food trucks in the park to all try in one visit.

Food Parks are becoming a big thing in almost EVERY city in Metro Manila now and I have to admit I love them! It's a big open space with so many food trucks and stalls and just so many choices. Perfect pang food trip! The ambiance is also nice for just hanging out.

The first time we went was to try Chixy9, a food stall owned by one of Andio's friends and he wanted to try out their "better than Jolibee" fried chicken. Lol.  The phrase did deliver.

With an affordable price too. I think we tried one of everything on their menu.
Chicken skin, chicken balls, fried chicken isaw every part of a chicken you can think of lol.

First time we went here was in the afternoon. Its way less crowded at this time but.... not all the food stalls are open this early.

Next we tried the long awaited longganisa burger from "Para".
Andio has this love for longganisa burgers so it was a must. It was really good but by this point we were getting full.

so.....

we came back another night! hahaha takaw mode. Pata for free.

This is my FAVORITE! If I recall correct, it's a raspberry iced tea shake. and it's good for 3-4 people.
Tempura in the background. You can get unli tempura too, if you want to get a heart attack or something.

Nachos and cheese fries while we were waiting for our other orders.

FYI the raspberry tea makes you really full, so if you want to enjoy the food, just take tiny sips.

and since I'm such a lame photographer thats all the pictures I have lol.

Anyway, overall its a perfect place to hang out with friends and eat as much as you want.

More restaurants here are....
